Admission criteria at Stag Lane Primary School

If more children apply than there are places, the 2026 rules offer places in this order.

1. Looked-after children and children who were previously looked after (adopted, or under a child arrangements or special guardianship order), including children who were in state care outside England.
2. Children for whom it is essential to go to this school because of significant medical and/or social needs, with evidence from a hospital consultant or a Children's Services director (usually only for the school closest to home).
3. Children of a parent with special medical reasons for this school, with evidence from a hospital consultant (usually only for the school closest to home).
4. Children with a brother or sister at the school (or its linked infant or junior school) at the time of admission.
5. Children of staff employed by the school for two or more years when the application is made, or recruited to a post with a demonstrable skills shortage.
6. Other children, in order of straight-line distance from home to the centre point of the school site (measured by Harrow Council). Equal distances are decided by random computer selection.
